GRADING POLICY

Report cards are sent home every 9 weeks for a total of 4 grading periods.  During each grading period, at least 9 grades will be assigned in each subject area.  Of the 9 grades, there will be a minimum of 6 formative and 3 summative grades per subject.

Grading Scale

District Academic Grading Scale:

100-90                     Excellent progress

89-80                      Above Average progress

79-75                      Average progress

74-70                      Low average progress

69-0                        Unsatisfactory progress (failing)

Character Education Grades:

4= Performs at excellent/ above standard consistently

3= Performs at standard expectations consistently

2= Performs slightly below standard expectations, but with continuous progress

1= Performs consistently below standard expectations
