| I am a 54-year-old grandfather. Teaching is my
second career after many years in private business. In addition to
4-8 Science, I am certified to teach 4-8 ELA, Social Studies, and Math.
I am also ESL Supplemental certified. I completed the districts 30
hour Gifted and Talented training this fall. I began teaching in
Lufkin, Texas, where I taught 6-8 science and 6-8 social studies for two
years at the Alternative Campus. I moved to the Dallas area to be
with my granddaughters....because grandchildren are the first children you
have that you actually like.
I am an old Army brat and a war orphan. Both of my parents
were from share-cropper, immigrant families. We see the United
States as the last, great refuge on earth for anyone who wants to work,
learn, and grow into a better live. |
