A Little History About Myself

Background –I started by going to Oklahoma University for 2 years but ended up getting my degrees from Tulsa University. I received my first degree in Fine Arts and later went back to get my degree in Education. I taught Summer Art classes and private Art lessons for about 5 years. My mother is an artist and so is my Aunt. As long as I can remember I always wanted to be an artist.

Family Life- I come from a large family of two brothers and two sisters. I have three children of my own and my husband has four. This past year I became a grandma and now have two grandkids. My daughter had a baby boy named Cooper and my son had a girl named Marissa. They are the greatest! My youngest daughter is going to graduate in the Spring from OSU and teach school. My oldest daughter is a recruiter for OSU and my son works as a Chef here in Dallas. Two of my husband’s kids are graduating this year and two of them teach.

Moving to Texas!- Four years ago my husband got a job offer to move to Texas. I hated to leave my friends and family to come to Dallas. I lived all my life in Tulsa but now Dallas is my home. It took some getting use to but we enjoy living here.

What’s Going On In School

We have a new program this year called "Make Your Day" In specials we will be talking about this the very first day of school. So, come prepared to have the greatest year ever in Art. You will be so surprised how much fun we going to have this year. I'm looking forward to all my old students and new ones that are coming this year. See you soon!
