Carrollton-Farmers Branch Special Education Services are provided to enhance appropriate educational opportunities for children with disabilities. By helping to meet each eligible student's learning needs with high expectations for success, students are prepared to pursue life-long learning as contributing members of the community.

Students receiving special education services must meet specific eligibility criteria as defined by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) in one or more of the following areas:

Auditory (hearing) impairment
Autism
Emotional disturbance
Learning disability
Mental retardation
Multiple disabilities
Orthopedic impairment
Other health impairment
Speech and/or language impairment
Traumatic brian injury
Visual impairment
