About Me

I was born and raised in Oklahoma, but have been a "Texan" for my adult life.  I received my B.S. degree from Oklahoma State University and my M.Ed. from Texas Woman's University with a specialization in Reading. 

This is my 22nd year with CFB.  I am the Instructional Facilitator with Furneaux Elementary.  My job responsibilities include working with Staff Development, making reports from data, assisting teachers as a resource for materials and strategies, and working  with small groups of children.

The best part of my job is, and always will be, the special relationships I enjoy with students.  Reading is a gift that keeps on giving, and there is nothing I love more than promoting that gift.
