What is the Learning Center?
The Learning Center is a separate classroom in which there is an 8:1 student to teacher ratio. It is normally a quieter place to work than a typical classroom. Children may learn alternative techniques to solve problems. They may work at their own pace. Students might need more time to spend on certain concepts. Most work is checked before they leave, allowing them the opportunity to correct errors before they become grades. Students may also come to the Learning Center to make up tests due to absences, and have assignments read to them or written for them should a temporary disability arise. A child may work on any subject in the Learning Center to allow maximum utilization. The average Learning Center student spends 1-2 hours a week in the program, depending on their teacher's schedule. Your help in providing the very best educational environment for your child is essential to their success. We appreciate your support!
A consent form is required before your child may begin utilizing the Learning Center.
