This past Saturday, Region 24 held its all-region choir auditions.  Students from Carroll ISD, CFB, Frisco ISD, Grapevine-Colleyville ISD, Lake Dallas IDS, Lewisville ISD and Little Elm ISD competed to become a member of this elite musical group.  This year Long Middle School had SEVENTEEN students make the choir.  This shatters the old school record of nine.  Here are the names of our students who made the Region 24 Honor Choir:

Blalack MS

Blalack placed 37 kids in the All Region Choir this weekend. That is the most we have every HAD! That is more than any school in the region by 12 singers. Also we placed many top chair positions. We had the 1^st chair Tenor 2, the 2^nd, Chair Alto, the 3^rd chair bass this year, not to mention several single digit chairs as well. Thank you  all for your support.

Also CFB as a whole place 71 singers in the choir of 240. We have 30% of the region choir. List of our choir members to come

 

Creekview HS Choir
On Oct. 1, several Creekview girls participated in the first round of auditions toward making choir.  The girls that made the cut will audition again on Saturday for placement in either the All-Region, Treble or Mixed choir.
