In Sep. 2 band members were selected for the Region 24 All-Region Jazz band: Sr Evan Runyon was selected to the All-Region 2nd Jazz Band on Bari Sax, and Jr. JaRod Hall was selected to the All-Region 1st Jazz Band on Bass Trombone.

This past Saturday over 100 students from 10 area high schools competed for a spot in the All-Region Jazz Ensemble. NSHS had 12 students and 2 alternates selected which represents the most of any school in the region! The will work with an outstanding clinician and present a concert on Nov. 19 at 7 pm in the R.L. Turner auditorium. Congratulations to the following NSHS Jazz Ensemble members for being selected to the All-Region Jazz Ensemble:
