The time has come; it is officially “Fund Raising Time” for the McKamy Choir. It is very important that every choir member participates in the fundraiser as you agreed to do when you signed the McKamy Choir Permission Form.
The choir will make $5.00 off every item you sell and I am asking that each sell at least 4 items ($20.00 profit). This is our minimum goal and will help to cover production costs of our Spring show. Can I sell more that 4 items? Yes, please do, I am counting on it.
If you choose, you may make a cash donation of $20.00 in lieu of participating in the fundraiser. Please make checks payable to McKamy Elementary (Your check must include a driver’s license number and telephone number).
1. Do not go door to door selling to strangers. This is very dangerous and your safety is our first concern. Have parents, friends or relatives take the brochure to work and get orders for you. Take the brochure to church, a sporting event, ask anyone and everyone to support our choir.
2. Payment must be collected at the time of the sale. We will not place your order without payment. Have your customers make their checks payable to McKamy Elementary. (Telephone #’s and Driver’s License # on each check)
3. Our sale will last until February 13. Please have all orders and money turned in by February 13. Please return your orders and money in the envelope I have provided.
4. The pizza kits and cookie dough will be delivered in a refrigerated truck on Tuesday, February 22 at 2:00. The pizza kits and cookie dough will be available to pick up in the music room between 3:00 - 600. All kits must be picked up and refrigerated by 6:00. We will make arrangements for students and parents who have circumstances not allowing them to pick up at that time. Please make these arrangements prior to Feb. 22.
I know that fundraising is not on your Top 10 list of fun things to do, believe me it is not on mine. I appreciate everyone’s cooperation and participation. Please do everything you can to make this a successful fundraiser and ultimately successful performances by the McKamy Choir.
