Text Box: Dear Parents and Students,
Every minute spent in class is valuable in terms of your child’s education.  Students who are consistently in attendance tend to have higher achievement and experience greater success in school.  Good attendance is critical in providing your student with a quality educational experience. You can encourage good attendance by planning activities and appointments outside of the school day whenever possible. Students should be in  their classrooms by 7:30 each morning, and learning does begin at that time. Research tells us that students who are on time and are ready for learning retain and learn more than the students who are not prepared and are tardy. I appreciate all your help in promoting good attendance and helping ensure your student is ready for their day and not tardy.
Thanks again for sharing the partnership with me in educating your children.
Sincerely,
 Rosie Oliveira, principal
