Reading: We will continue building upon comprehension and critical thinking strategies using a variety of genres.

•Social Studies:  We will learn how the Indians came to Texas, the explorers who discovered Texas, and the brave and wonderful people who settled in Texas to make it the great state it is today. 

 

•Writing:  We will increase our understanding of grammar usage, develop detailed stories using a variety of writing styles, and learn about the essential elements of good writing.
