This band is made up of students who have competed at least one year of training on their instrument.  Students are selected for the Concert Band based upon their audition and their past performance in the band program.  All members of this group are strongly encouraged to audition for the All-District and All-Region Bands and participate in the Solo and Ensemble Festival.  Members are required to participate in all school performances unless excused by the Band Staff.  Members are encouraged to take part in the Ensemble Class and the Enrichment Program.  The Band Staff will assign sectional times to help the student progress to the next level of performance.  If eligible, this group will compete in the Pre-UIL Festival and UIL Festival.
