This course is for seventh and eighth grade students.  It is similar to the Sixth Grade Beginner Band Class in that it concentrates on those fundamentals that a student needs to learn during their first year in band.  This class gives the student an introduction to the musical language and basic music theory.  Students must go through an interview with the Band Staff to help place him/her on the correct instrument.
