This course concentrates on those fundamentals that a student needs to learn during their first year in band.  The student does not need any prior musical experience.  This class meets daily and gives the student an introduction to the musical language and basic music theory.  The students are grouped by instrument to help facilitate instruction.  Students must go through an interview with the Band Staff to help place him/her on the correct instrument.
