Coming in January: Free Online College and Career Planning Resource for PSAT/NMSQT® Takers (mostly Sophomores and Juniors).

Starting with the 2005 administration, all students who take the PSAT/NMSQT will receive free access to MyRoad, the College Board's Web-based career, majors, and college exploration tool. Each student who took the PSAT will receive a password.

MyRoad's unique features include:

• A validated personality assessment
• In-depth profiles of more than 175 college majors; information on more than 3500 colleges, detailed articles on more than 450 careers
• An online magazine with information for making important educational and career choices

Students can try browsing the MyRoad Careers A-Z index. Whether they click on art directors or art therapists, surgeons or surgical technologists, they'll learn about job responsibilities, required education and certification, and salary. At the top of the page, they'll find links to interviews with professionals in the field.
