Library Leaders are 4th and 5th grade students who volunteer for one twenty minute session in the library per week. Their primary task is shelving books. Keeping the books shelved and therefore available to the students for checkout is crucial to an effective library program. The Library Leaders are pivotal to this goal. During the course of the year they also learn other skills such as the automated checkout system and help with various tasks such as pulling books and deliveries to teachers.
