An educator who strengthens the strong, rich parental and community support found in C-FB ISD, Dr. Annette T. Griffin was hired as the superintendent of the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District in 1997.

     Prior to her superintendency in C-FB ISD, Dr. Griffin led the Duncanville Independent School District as superintendent for four years and served as the superintendent for Southlake Carroll Independent School District for three years. Dr. Griffin has a breadth of educational experiences ranging from a classroom teacher to an elementary principal and an assistant superintendent for instruction/curriculum.

     Today, Dr. Griffin is widely recognized for educational leadership not only in C-FB ISD but across Texas and the nation. Described as a visionary educational leader, Dr. Griffin actively builds partnerships between the district, parents, local governments, local universities and college, chambers of commerce and businesses. She is committed to providing instructional programs that will assist all students to be productive citizens in the Twenty First Century.

     Recognizing the importance of constant communication, Dr. Griffin frequently speaks to local, state and national groups about C-FB ISD and public education.
