
The purpose of the society is to recognize outstanding students of Spanish who have maintained a 93 average in their Spanish classes and maintained an overall B average in their other classes. National Spanish Honor Society members also promote a continuing interest in the Spanish language and culture.

They need students to help with tutoring in the evenings. They have a large
demand
for homework help from elementary
students. Please call ahead and let them know
when you are available to tutor.
If you can go on a weekly basis they can assign you a
regular weekly time.
October 27th, Saturday: 2:30-4:00: Halloween puppet show on .
They need
5 volunteers to help with crafts.
Dec. 19th, Wednesday: 6:30-8:30: Santa and Cookies - They need
25 volunteers.

To volunteer at Bea's Kids you will need to fill out a Volunteer Registration
Form which you can download from their website (www.beaskids.org). In
addition, volunteers will need to provide Bea's kids personnel with 2 references
- may not be a family friend. Please provide a contact number and an
e-mail address for both references.
Tutoring students who are studying Spanish
Students need help with their
Spanish classes. You will tutor the students either before or after school
at a time that is convenient for both parties. The students must attend
tutorials in his/her teacher's classroom or my classroom. Please remember
to have your hours form signed.
