C-FB ISD GOLD MEDAL SAFETY ACHIEVEMENT PROGRAM

OBJECTIVE:  To further increase the level of safety awareness of all of our staff and to support the safety leadership efforts of all of our leaders out in the district!

GO FOR THE GOLD !

 WHAT ARE THE CRITERIA?

 1)      ATTENDANCE:  (Number of Absences) 

Ø      Excused Absence is OK (Vacation/Sick/Personal Leave)

Ø      If your kitchen is in ‘Docked Status’ at any time during the month it counts against you.

Ø      1 point for meeting goal each month.

 2)      INCIDENT RATE: (Number of Claims)

Ø      1 point each month if better than last year’s average.

 3)      LOSS EXPERIENCE: (Expense of Claims)

Ø      1 point each month if your department stays under representative District claim dollar costs.

WHAT IS THE GOAL?

                1)      BRONZE MEDAL STATUS

Ø      70% - 79% of total possible

Ø      9 month work schedule (27 points possible) = 18 to 20

2)      SILVER MEDAL STATUS

     Ø      80% - 89% of total possible

                Ø      9 month work schedule (27 points possible) = 21 to 23

3)      GOLD MEDAL STATUS

     Ø      90% - 100% of total possible

                Ø      9 month work schedule (27 points possible) = 24 or better
