Grade 7 Science - Unit VII Overview

Genetics

In the Genetics unit, students will understand the differences in offspring produced in sexual and asexual reproduction. Students will recognize that genetic material contains the coding for traits.

Critical Questions
  • How do organisms change through generations?
  • What significance does genetic material play in an organism's appearance?
  • What knowledge have we gained through genetic research?
