Energy
In the
Energy unit, students will understand the difference
between potential and kinetic energy and be able to
provide examples of each. Students will understand the
use of energy and its transformation through the process
of photosynthesis. In the study of photosynthesis,
students will also observe a plant's response to
external stimuli.
Critical Questions
- How will students illustrate interactions between
matter and energy?
- What are some ways energy is converted in our
everyday life?
- What can we observe about the role of external
stimuli in living organisms?
