Although
the best preparation for the PSAT/NMSQT is long term—such
as taking solid academic courses and reading widely—students will
perform better on the test if they know what to expect on test day.
This is one reason why in C-FB ISD we administer the test to all
sophomores and juniors as well as ninth graders in the ACE/LEAP program.
The
top 100 sophomore scores are recognized in April at the Superintendent
Scholar Night.
Juniors can qualify as National Merit Scholars & Merit Scholarship
Awards based on their PSAT scores.
