Communities in Schools,
CIS, is a program in school that assists students, families and the community.
CIS is currently in 9 schools in the Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD. We work with
students and families on various concerns. Some issues that we assist with are
the following: academic, behavior, attendance, social skills, social
services/community referrals (supplies, uniforms, eyeglasses, hygiene), economic
and health needs. CIS works with students on an individual or group setting
basis. CIS will connect the community with the school and the school with the
community.
