The C-FB ISD Parenting Department provides parents with information about how to help your child be successful in school. Click Here to learn about Instructional Tuesdays & Lunch 'n Learn Thursday classes at the Community Learning Center, 1820 Pearl St. Bldg. B from 12:00-1:00pm. (child care provided).

Volunteer for PTA - Willing Helpers Wanted!

The BBMS PTA is looking for parent volunteers to help with a variety of activities at school. Volunteers need to fill out a registration form for a background check, and--good news!--you can now register online through the district's website. It only takes about 3 minutes! The district is requesting volunteers to register online to compile a list of approved volunteers for each campus, but the form is still available as a Word document in English or Spanish to print out & submit.
 

Barbara Bush MS accepted as Candidate School for International Baccalaureate-Middle Years Programme

As of December 22, 2007 Barbara Bush MS is an official Candidate School for the International Baccalaureate-Middle Years Programme. BBMS is developing a 5-year MYP partnership with Ranchview HS, which has a 2-yr Diploma Program. IB-MYP Coordinator Mavon Wall is guiding the 3-year certification process. For more information about the International Baccalaureate Program, visit our IB-MYP link or the International Baccalaureate website @ http://www.ibo.org/. More information about the Bush program will appear on this website as it becomes available.
