3rd Grade News

 

 

 

Wow!  The first nine weeks of school have flown by!  We look forward to the next nine weeks with your child! 

 

Check for the following coming home daily/weekly:

Planners  - This is our primary means of daily classroom communication for homework assignments, notes from the teacher, and assessment dates. Please sign planners daily to verify home and school communication. 

Tuesday Newsday folder- Find PTA information, upcoming school events, and school wide communication in this folder.  This will help you be involved with your child's education.  Return folders on Wednesday to homeroom teacher.

Friday Folders/Calendar- This folder will include graded work as well as communication from the teacher from the previous week. 

Homework:  Third graders will have homework assignments written in their planners.  These should be completed every evening and returned to school the next day unless stated otherwise.

Important Events: 

• Fall Field Trip to the Dallas Symphony and Art Museum-November

• Writing benchmark test- October 18th

• Reading benchmark test- October 23rd

• Blanton Blood Drive- October 16th, 2:30 P.M.-6:30 P.M.
