Dear Parents,
This is your child’s homework folder. Inside we have tried to provide you with
all the materials you will need for the year. Each week you will find a letter
detailing each day of homework. Please check off each activity when completed.
The folder is to go home and not be returned to school.
The weekly letter only can be returned in your child’s purple folder on
Friday’s to be checked.
Please do not work on more than we are requesting. Homework is only for review and practice and should not exceed 15-20 minutes per session. Practicing too much and going past the point of frustration for the children can have an adverse effect on learning. It is very important that you use the manipulative provided when counting 1-20. Two color beans are in your child’s bag for this purpose.
RESPONSIBILITY is the key word in keeping up with this folder. PLEASE do not lose them. We put a large amount of time, effort and money into creating this for the year and we have only ONE set of materials per student.
