Welcome to 5th Grade

We want to welcome everyone to what we hope will be a wonderful 5th grade year!  Below are links to each teacher's individual webpage as well as some other important links.

Check for the following coming home daily/weekly:

Planners  - This is our primary means of communication for homework assignments notes from the teacher, and assessment dates. Please sign planners daily to verify home and school communication.  (Purchase in school office for $7.00 ).

Tuesday Newsday folder- Find PTA information, upcoming school events, graded papers, and school wide communication in this folder.  This will help you be involved with your child's education.  Return folders on Wednesday to homeroom teacher.

Checkbooks-Also each Tuesday, your child's checkbook (behavior folder) will be coming home.  Look over the transaction page to see what deposits were given or what fines where given.  Each fine deducts 5 points for the student's behavior grade for that week.  Please sign and send back with student.

Portable Tips-You may want to send a water bottle with your child, as it is very hot!  Remember no electronic devices (including cell phones) are allowed to come to school.  Check the weather daily to see if your child may need an umbrella, raincoat, or heavy winter coat for that day.  Enjoy the year!!!
