Meet Mrs. Bass!!!!!

This is my third year teaching 3^rd grade at Sheffield!  I Graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I have a love and deep passion for teaching!  I believe in each one of my students... I believe that my job as a teacher is to be the facilitator to the discovery of new skills which will produce well rounded productive citizens. In my classroom you will see a positive environment along with challenging learning opportunities that will ensure each child’s success! I promote an atmosphere of safety, trust, and respect. I work hard to build a sense of community among my students, and I emphasize the idea of teamwork. I believe that great things can happen when we work together! I enjoy teaching, shopping, going to the movies, traveling, reading (if your child doesn't enjoy reading, he/she will by the end of the year :), and spending time with my family and friends.
