Personal Information:

I was born and raised in Texas and have lived mostly in the Dallas area.  I have two brothers and two sisters, all of whom live in Texas.  I am married to my college sweetheart, Dave, who is a real estate agent.  I have two grown children and one very spoiled grandson, who lives in Arizona.  I also have one dog, a Russell Terrier.

Background Information:

This is my 25^th year in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD.  I taught for 20 years in 1^st, 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th grades.  This is my 5^th year as an Assistant Principal and my second year at Furneaux.  I have worked in summer school for around 18 years.

Educational Background:

I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University and received my master’s degree from Texas Woman's University.  I am an avid reader and a life-long learner.

Hobbies and Interests:

 I especially enjoy spending time with my family.   We all like going to the family's lake cabin on my parent’s farm in the piney woods of East Texas.  There we go for long walks in the woods, fish, swim, read books, work puzzles, play games and go riding on 4-wheelers.  I also enjoy traveling, especially to the beach or the mountains.
