Text Box: At Thompson Elementary school, two girls by the names of Maricela V. Mira. M. found a little bird called a Killdeer. It is called a Killdeer because it makes a sound like “k’dee, k’dee”. Maricela and Mira found out about the bird in early March. Then in Extra P.E. Text Box: Mr. Atchison’s class, it wasn’t just Mira and Maricela that saw the beautiful bird, the whole class saw it! Right now it is nesting so don’t come near it. If you come close to her you come close to her egg which she would give her life for.
