My name is Liz Mahaffey.  I was born and raised in Farmers Branch, TX.  I attended Mary Immaculate Catholic School for elementary and middle school.  I went to high school at R.L. Turner in Carrollton, TX. From there I attended Texas A&M University-Commerce.  I received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Education.  My specializations were in Special Education and Health. I am currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Family Studies. I am beginning my 8^th year of teaching with this being my 6^th year at Ranchview High School.  In addition to teaching I am the Sophomore Exec Sponsor and co-sponsor of the "Yell Raisers," spirit group..
